This jump starter is a solid addition to any car emergency kit. Thankfully, I haven’t had to use it on my car, but I did test it out with my wife’s car which is about 11 yr old and it worked flawlessly.It comes neatly packed in a soft case that holds the unit, jumper cables, and the charging cable. The build quality is durable, especially the clamps.It charges with usb-c and doubles as a power bank with usb-a and usb-c outputs. There is also a bright flashlight with multiple modes.The one thing I would’ve liked is a dedicated car charger, so I could leave it charging in the vehicle, for now i can charge it everytime it goes below 50%. Overall, it gives me peace of mind knowing that it is in the trunk.
I came out of work the other day to discover my car was dead in the water! Thankfully I got to put this jump box to the use and it REALLY does work! Got my bronco cranked so I could leave it running and charge back up the battery before diagnosing the issue. Really a lifesaver, and awesome how compact it is.
I picked up this jump pack so I could have one for instances where I need some 12v power to start up small engines and my car in the unlucky event my batteries die. I haven't used it on my car yet, but I have already used it several times with my riding lawnmower and it starts It right up despite the weak battery.It came with a nice little carrying case that can fit the unit, its cable, and the manual. It has a type C charger which is nice as it makes it easy to charge up, but it would have been convenient if it came with its own charger, especially a 12v one that would allow me to leave it charged in my car so it's available whenever I need it. For the price paid, it does the job though.If you're someone who has a lot of small engine equipment with electric starters or you want something in case of emergency for your 4cyl sedan, this would be a good buy. I would guess you will need a larger jump pack if you have a truck or any extreme weather needs though.
This is a perfect size to keep in the back of my car for emergencies. It’s a great value overall and good quality for the price.
This device jump starts a car when the battery is dead. It can jump start multiple vehicles on a single charge. That certainly beats approaching strangers for a jump start or calling for roadside assistance that takes a while to get there.After unboxing I charged the device overnight, packed it in its carrying case, and tucked it securely in my trunk. I feel good having it there.The downside of reviewing this car battery jump starter is that I can't test it in a live circumstance. I can't run my battery down just to see it work. So, it has to sit patiently in my trunk waiting for the day it's needed - by me or some stranger with a dead battery who approaches me. One catch, of course, is that it has to be charged. Every few months it has to be plugged in to top off its power. I marked my calendar so I don't forget.The device has a couple of bonus features. It can charge USB devices, power car accessories that plug into a 12V car outlet, plus a flashlight with an automated SOS signal.I never want to be in a car again without this car battery jump starter. It's a keeper!
